Tomoo Nagai
Percussionist & Composer
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. He found sounds from materials he encountered around the world and created them from his own musical instruments. Based on his unique concept, he performs live in Japan and overseas as a solo and band, and produces soundtracks for TV and movies. He has also designed many sounds for public facility spaces, such as the Miho Matsubara Cultural and Creative Center “Otonoki”, the Minamikata Kumakusu Memorial Hall, “Minamikata Kumakusu Music”, the music “Sounds for 31 Stations” on the platform of 31 stations on the JR Kinokuni Line, and the music in the Tennozu Isle Central Tower Building.
